THEOLOGIAN

THEOLOGIAN is the industrial music project of Lee M. Bartow, a longtime contributor to the world of unorthodox music, initiated in 2008 after the dissolution of his previous decade-long project, NTT.

In addition to a discography exceeding 60 releases, from 2016-2019, THEOLOGIAN worked with Syracuse-based “spoken arts” label CADABRA RECORDS, providing sound design and original scores for several vinyl releases adapting the “weird fiction” of H.P. Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Roland Topor, Thomas Ligotti, and Jon Padgett. These albums were produced in collaboration with the voice talents of Andrew Leman (co-founder of the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society and director of THE CALL OF CTHULHU), noted Lovecraft scholar S.T. Joshi, independent film actor Laurence R. Harvey, as well as contemporary weird fiction author, and editor of Vastarien literary journal, Jon Padgett.
